An LS or EFI conversion changes more than the long block. The engine, mounts, bellhousing or transmission interface, raw-water and closed-cooling systems, exhaust, fuel system, wiring, ECM, controls and instrumentation all have to work together in a marine environment.

LS-Series Engine Packages

Evaluate LS-based engine options around the vessel, desired power level, engine-bay dimensions, drive or transmission and intended use.

EFI Conversion

Convert compatible carbureted or older fuel-injected marine applications to modern electronic fuel injection where the project and engine platform support it.

ECM & Harness Integration

Engine-management wiring, sensors, ignition, relay and power distribution, start/run circuits and diagnostic access are planned as one system.

Fuel-System Upgrades

Evaluate tank pickup, filtration, feed and return requirements, pressure regulation, pumps, hose compatibility and engine-demand requirements.

Marine Cooling & Exhaust

Our LS / EFI Conversion Process

1. Inspect & Measure

Document the existing engine, driveline, mounts, wiring, fuel, cooling and exhaust system.

2. Engineer the Package

Define the engine, EFI strategy, mounting, driveline interface and supporting systems required.

3. Remove & Install

Remove the existing powerplant as approved, complete fabrication or rigging work and install the new package.

4. Configure & Test

Complete wiring checks, EFI setup, system diagnostics, operational testing and final commissioning.

Marine Compatibility Matters

Automotive LS components are not automatically suitable for marine use. Final component selection must account for ignition protection, fuel-system requirements, cooling, corrosion exposure, exhaust, ventilation, driveline loading and the boat's existing certification and installation constraints.

Project scope and available engine/EFI combinations vary by vessel. Final recommendations are made after inspection and compatibility review.
